The back garden has lots of space for playing games. The lawn drops down towards a meadow, bordered by a stream. One of the local waymarked walks goes past the other side of the stream.

During the long summer days, the garden is teeming with birdlife. Chiff-Chaffs flit around the bushes, swallows swoop over the garden and buzzards soar over the trees and fields behind the house. The birds don't give up at night either. If you don't see one of the resident owls, you will certainly hear them!
